Lauri Celella

Lauri Celella and her husband, Dave, run Dry Creek Livestock and Poetry Dorpers, near Poetry, Texas. Lauri grew up showing livestock and had a small flock of sheep. She uses HMI planned grazing methods to graze 140 Dorper Sheep and 20 Devon cattle. She is a board member of the American Dorper Sheep Breeders Society. Lauri learned about Holistic Management through HMI’s Beginning Women Farmer/Rancher Program in Texas in 2012 and became a Whole Farm/Ranch Trainer with HMI in 2024. She has assisted in teaching online classes and instructing in HMI’s Regenerative Agriculture Mentor Program (RAMP) .
