My experience spans 30 years in agriculture as a researcher, educator, consultant and farmer. I hold a master’s in Soil Science and a PhD in Crop and Soil Environmental Sciences. I have been using Holistic Management to manage my own life and money since 1995 and was certified to teach Holistic Management in 1997. I developed the first-edition Holistic Biological Monitoring guide for Croplands (https://holisticmanage.wpengine.com/product/holistic-management-crop-monitoring-manual/). This guide makes it possible for people to assess the condition of the four ecosystem processes on their cropland. I also own and operate a small fruit and vegetable farm in south Mississippi since 2007. During my 14-years working as a Technical Specialist with the National Sustainable Agriculture Information Service (http://www.attra.org), I supported sustainable producers, researchers, educators, and federal land managers throughout the U.S. through one-on- one consultation, case responses, educational workshops, and invited presentations. I’ve authored 33 publications for farmers on a variety of sustainable-agriculture topics distributed by the National Sustainable Agriculture Information Service.
My Notes: Offering education and consulting in Holistic Decision Making, Financial Planning, Cropland Planning, and Enterprise Evaluation either one-on- one or in a small group setting. I can work either on-site or through distance learning for confidential, convenient education at your own pace that fits your schedule. I’ll start from where you are and help you get to where you want to be. Call or send an email when you are ready to ask questions, share your concerns, or discuss how we can best work together to meet your needs.
