Stevie Schafenacker

As a Whole Farm Planning Trainer, Stevie brings nearly two decades of hands-on agricultural and technical experience to supporting farm viability across the Northeast. Since 2023, she has operated an independent coaching practice, guiding farmers and food producers across Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Vermont, and New York through financial literacy, business planning, and strategic decision-making.

Stevie's background ranges from starting out as a farm apprentice in diversified vegetable CSAs in Massachusetts to managing a multi-acre urban farm in Brooklyn, supporting community-rooted urban farm projects, and then spending over six years as a coordinator at Community Involved in Sustaining Agriculture (CISA) delivering technical assistance to Western MA farmers.

Passionate about meeting the real-world challenges of farming, Stevie integrates Holistic Management principles into her coaching toolbox to help producers navigate complex choices while balancing social, environmental, financial, and personal well-being. Stevie lives and works in Western Massachusetts.
