HMI was excited to collaborate with The Practical Farmers of Iowa during their annual conference in January 2014. HMI Interim CEO and Holistic Management Certified Educator, Ann Adams, along with Margaret Smith, a Holistic Management practitioner and trainer with long-time Holistic Management practitioners Tom and Irene Frantzen facilitated an in-depth 2-day course, "Achieve the Triple Bottom Line with Holistic Management."
45 people participated in this experiential pre-conference workshop including 15 beginning farmers. Course evaluations showed strong knowledge improvement in the areas of goal setting and decision-making. There were also numerous Holistic Management practitioners on the conference agenda as well, including Neil Dennis and Gabe Brown and David and Kay James.
