HMI is excited to announce that Holistic Management practitioner and former HMI board member, Ariel Greenwood will be speaking at the 2025 REGENERATE Conference on November 5-7, 2025 in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Ariel has faced the challenges of integrating regenerative agricultural practices on operation in California, Montana, and New Mexico. She says:
"I'll be attempting to give the talk that I've always wanted to hear:
How do we translate some of the regenerative agriculture principles championed by consultants and gurus to the often challenging real world contexts of working commercial ranches?
How about on leased property, and places with multiple stakeholders?
How do we balance the benefits of density, animal impact, and plant response and recovery... with the realities of animal performance, uncertain weather patterns, wildlife impact, fair wages, and responsible use of well water and wetlands?
I definitely don't have all the answers but I'll take a crack at addressing some of these tensions, speaking from our own first hand experiences. Hope it's valuable to people trying to move the needle."
Come hear Ariel and a host of great plenary speakers, workshop presenters, and more on November 5-7, 2025.
