“The truth is, Holistic Management has helped us see things differently. And that has made all the difference. It has given us hope and a renewed sense of purpose.”—Tara Dukart, Seek First Farm, North Dakota
  • Do you value clean air and water? Healthy food? Biodiversity?

  • Do you worry about the world we are leaving the next generation?

  • Are you ready to be help create flourishing landscapes?

When Land Is Holistically Managed, Everyone Thrives

With regenerative farming and ranching everyone wins. When land is healthy, it helps improve water and air quality, while providing fresh, local food. All sorts of animals benefit from this type of stewardship--from bees and butterflies to hummingbirds and beyond—helping entire ecosystems flourish.

Your gift to HMI directly supports our efforts to train and support land stewards around the world as they learn how to partner with Nature to nurture biodiversity and create resilient landscapes that provide the vital gifts of life to all.

A Gift for Future Generations

“I think that what HMI teaches is our best chance to rectify the problems of the past to try to regenerate our rural areas.  HMI teaches the world’s best range science and is an example of an organization making a huge difference.” -Laura Gill, Texas, USA

Providing for future generations is something we all want. When you donate to HMI, you are investing in a healthier world for us all. In turn, HMI will help your values live on.

“To me there is probably nothing more important for us to do than to combat environmental degradation and climate change.  In order to improve the environment, it takes good land managers and that is what HMI is doing.  They’re out training good people who want to be good land stewards, who want to learn how to be able to do that.  I think there’s no more worthwhile place to put your philanthropic money than in the practice of Holistic Management.”  -Sallie Calhoun, California, USA

Most individuals over the age of 73 years are now required to make annual minimum withdrawals from traditional individual retirement accounts such as a SEP or simple IRAs as well as other retirement plans. Because these minimum withdrawals can impact your income taxes, many people have decided that they would like to make a tax-free gift directly from their retirement account to the charity of their choice. This option means that you are investing money where it can make the most impact.

Estate Planning

Creating an estate plan is a wonderful, effective way to ensure your values are passed on in a meaningful, impactful way when you are gone – a way of your choosing. There are a variety of options you can implement within your estate plan that allow you to make a gift of your estate now to HMI that will carry forward to the next generation of land stewards and local food advocates – growing thriving communities.

Please let us know if you have included HMI in your estate plan so that we may properly recognize and thank you for your generous gift!

Leave HMI A Bequest

“My support of HMI began in 2002 because there are few ways one can invest in an organization focused on the vitality of the land. That land is central to healthy food and to the lives of people just like you and me in every community. It turns out everything we care about in a thriving world goes back to that land. Is it any wonder I continue my support including through my estate?” – Ron Chapman, Georgia
