The Ten Main Threats to Soil Health

Here's a great little infographic from the Food & Agriculture Organization (FAO)about soil health and the need for good soil management. According to FAO to achieve healthy soil, we need to focus on the 10 main threats to soil functions: soil erosion, soil organic carbon loss, nutrient imbalance, soil acidification, soil contamination, waterlogging, soil compaction, soil sealing, salinization and loss of soil biodiversity.
