The Public Lands Council recently unveiled a video about the value of ranchers stewarding public lands featuring Holistic Management producer Shaun Sims of the Sims Ranch located near Uinta, Wyoming. This powerful video is given credence by Shaun's narration and experience as one of the many American ranchers stewarding the 640 million acres of U.S. public lands across the West. He explains the responsibility of managing these lands in concert with federal agencies as well as sharing them with the recreationists who also use them and the wildlife who depend on the health of these landscapes. He also references the power of these landscapes to sequester carbon.
This video was a collaboration with the National Grazing Lands Coalition and the American Sheep Industry Association.
